Department of School Education, Govt. Of Chhattisgarh and Wadhwani Operating Foundation sign MoU to Enhance Employability in the State of Chhattisgarh

~ Initiation of large-scale vocational education in Chhattisgarh’s secondary and higher secondary schools ~

~ Aimed at enhancing employability of students through skills-based training, delivered through an online and blended learning platform enabling students to be job-ready on graduation from high school ~

~ Quality skilling expected to improve the job prospects of the students undergoing the program, reducing the drop-out rates in the state of Chhattisgarh ~

Raipur: Govt. of Chhattisgarh’s Department of School Education and Wadhwani Operating Foundation today announced a strategic partnership which aims at enhancing employability through the skills-based training program.

Shri Vikas Sheel, Secretary Education – Govt. of Chhattisgarh, exchanged the MoU with Dr Ajay Kela, CEO & President, Wadhwani Operating Foundation (The MoU says, Executive Director). The MoU was signed during the 2-day Eastern Regional Conference held at Raipur organized by Ministry of Human Resource Development.

The MoU suggests providing E-Content for high-quality employability and work skills and certain macro job roles training programs delivered through a blended online learning platform. The Wadhwani Operating Foundation (WOF) will also provide certified Master Trainers to train the faculty and facilitator in the states and help in creating Master Trainers as state assets.
