We are currently living in unprecedented times where a deadly global pandemic is causing global recession resulting into mass unemployment and companies closing down their businesses. Amidst this emerging grim economic reality, now more than ever, entrepreneurs are called to rise to the challenge and capitalize on the crisis and turn it into an opportunity. As Linda Rottenberg, the co-founder of the non-profit Endeavor, once said: “When economies turn down, entrepreneurs turn up.”
The Employers Confederation of the Philippines, in partnership with Wadhwani Foundation, a non-profit organization with the primary mission of accelerating economic development in emerging economies by driving large-scale job creation through entrepreneurship, innovation and skills development, is launching a program called Bite-Sized Entrepreneurship Sessions with the goal of helping start-up entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs learn the necessary skills in identifying and developing an opportunity into a new business venture.
